PREPARATION & CLASS RULES

What to Bring
- Please bring your mat and a warm hoodie, sweatshirt, or small blanket. You will need the blanket for sivassana.
- Bring water.
- Be respectful and please turn off cell phones.
- Shoes off at the door.
- No socks.
Etiquette
Please make note of the start time for each class. We try to start on time. If you happen to be running late, please drive safely, and it is appreciated that you set your mat up quietly (removing shoes and turning off phones).
If you know you will have to leave class early, please find a spot towards the back of the class to lessen the distraction for the whole class.
It is recommended that you TUNE-IN on your own before you jump into the asanas (postures). “Tuning In” is mentally chanting the words “Ong Namo Guru Dev Namo” three times to center and focus yourself.
IF you are LATE for class and we are in the middle of "tuning-in" please wait to enter until AFTER the class has tuned in... you can tune-in on your own before entering. When you enter the class, you can GENTLY ease yourself into the posture that the class is in. If your body feels that you must do a couple stretches before joining the rest of the class, please do so.
Sat Nam! See you on the mat!
