... a work in constant process!

Artist, Liza F. Camba (Sat-Akal) posing with fellow artist friend and Media Educator Jay Davis. (2009)
Hello! Welcome to my portfolio! Thank you for stopping by!
This is a view of some of my 2D and conceptual works. I feel very at home with the art-making process and enjoy a nice retreat when I can to make art.
After more than 30 years of life, I am reminded that if life ever feels a bit "off" ~ I have to see if I'm making enough time and space to make art. As an artist, making art is like what pranayama (breathing) is to a yogi. It is an extension of one's nature. I'm happy to share with you a very intimate part of who I am, through my art.
These are selected works (below) from an earlier part of my art making days. Today, my work weaves in even more the ideas of Oneness, Self-Healing, and Transformation.
Please feel free to email me if you have any questions. Oh! By the way, the photo above, is of me with a friend in front of my mandala painting called "Rebirth" - it is about 6 feet wide and about 3.5 ft tall, completed in 2009. A rather cathartic experience in the making, I worked on the piece everyday over the span of 3 months. It represents renewal and the birth of a new direction to my art-making.
